Landing Pages for Traffic Exchanges
One of the best ways to make money on the internet is to create a list of followers and then adopt effective marketing with the list. Most webmasters are aware of this method and are successfully implementing it to complement their overall revenue. However, most beginners do not have a plan and are hesitant about creating their own list.
Most people resort to traffic exchanges in order to increase traffic to their websites. In some cases, the increased traffic may perhaps not translate to increased sales. Therefore, we have formulated a few ways to help you build your list.
The whole purpose of creating a list of subscribers is to build a list of followers, so as to point them in the right direction. These people will often follow your recommendations when it comes to buying products or services from the internet.
First of all, you must create a landing page. This page is also known as a “squeeze” page and the whole purpose of creating this page is to get people in your “opt-in” list. There are a few things you need to keep in mind, while creating effectual landing pages. To begin with, you must not put anything else on that page, since this may perhaps distract your viewers. For an instance, do not put any adsense codes, external links or pictures. Your visitors will have no other option but to either click the “submit” option or to “exit”.
You don’t have to execute a fancy or a complicated landing page strategy. According to the experts, you can simply create a text-based template with an “opt-in” box. These simple pages work better than the elaborate video or flash based pages. There are only two things you need to include in your landing page – a description of the product/service you are offering and the opt-in box for the subscribers along with the space to collect their email addresses. Your landing page must encourage the visitors to opt-in.
You will need to offer some products to your subscribers, so as to attract them to opt-in. There are hundreds of PLR products existent in the online market. You can either offer these to your subscribers or create a customized report. Most webmasters choose to build their own e-book or report about their niche market. This will educate the subscribers about the product/service they wish to deal with.
Some webmasters hire content writers or designers to help them create something unique for their subscribers. It is all about being different than the rest. You can also install an effective “auto responder” service, so as to direct your subscribers once they opt-in to receive your updates. You can also create your own auto responder sequence. All you need is a welcoming message that can direct your subscribers with the right link to download their report. Once you activate your landing page on the internet, you can choose to put more messages in the auto responder. You can also use pay-per-click campaigns to direct traffic to your landing page from the traffic exchanges.
